Every experience begins with a written plan that brings the price, inclusions, timing, pickup, and reservation terms into one place.

Reservations

A request begins the conversation.

Sending an inquiry or requesting a preferred date does not create a reservation.
We review vehicle, route, winery, pickup, and seasonal availability before confirming the experience.
The complete price, inclusions, timing, pickup plan, and reservation terms are shared in writing before payment.
Payment instructions and any deposit or balance schedule are included in that written plan.

Rates and additional costs

Know what is included before payment.

The current rate is $75 per person for the 3-hour wine tour and $125 per person for the 5-hour wine tour.
Groups of 10 to 14 guests receive 10% off the standard wine-tour rate.
Call for private and custom tour pricing. The group's needs, route, timing, and pickup are reviewed before a written quote is provided.
Expert guiding, chilled bottled water, wine maps, and winery descriptions are provided.
Food is not included in the tour price. Tasting fees, wine purchases, and admission to ticketed or special events are additional.

Cancellations

Cancellation and changing conditions.

Cancellation, refund, rebooking, and no-show terms are included in the written plan for each reservation.
Review those terms before payment so the expectations are clear.
If weather, smoke, wildfire, road conditions, or access affect the day, we will contact you about the available next step.
Routes and stops may change when current conditions, access, winery hours, or safety require an adjustment.

Pickup and timing

The meeting plan is confirmed for each group.

Standard three- and five-hour wine tours meet on Grand Avenue in downtown Paonia and return to the same pickup location. Another meeting location may be arranged for your tour.
Private and custom tours may include door-to-door pickup and drop-off by arrangement.
Any remote pickup fee or additional travel charge is included in the written plan before payment.
The 3-hour tour is generally planned for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 3 to 6 p.m.; exact departure and return times are confirmed for each reservation.

Guests and group format

Plan for the people who are actually coming.

The standard wine tours are designed primarily for groups. Couples and smaller parties are welcome when scheduling and availability allow.
Private and custom tours serve one group of up to 14 guests with exclusive use of the tour van, driver, and guide.
The tour van provides comfortable seating, seat belts, and wide-window views.
Non-drinking guests are welcome.
Tell us about guests under 21 when you inquire. Participation depends on the tour format and the policies of each stop.

Accessibility and animals

Share access needs before the day is confirmed.

The tour van does not have a wheelchair lift and is not wheelchair accessible.
Guests are invited to share mobility, sensory, dietary, or other access needs before payment.
We will discuss what the vehicle, route, and participating stops can accommodate before confirmation.
Share any service-animal or animal-related needs with your request so the relevant vehicle, route, and participating-stop requirements can be confirmed.

Colorado Detours

Custom experiences and transportation remain request-only.

Colorado Detours experiences, private events, group transportation, and shuttle services are planned around the specific request rather than sold as fixed departures.
Every request receives an availability review, a custom route or transportation plan, and a written quote.
Fall-color and harvest experiences are seasonal.
Payment and cancellation terms are included in the written plan before the reservation is confirmed.
